League Planning to Talk to Guillen
Jose Guillen is expected to be interviewed by the commissioner’s office about his purchase of $19,000 worth of performance-enhancing drugs over a 3-year period. The player’s orders included a $2,083 shipment, which was sent to the Coliseum in September 2003. His orders were placed between June 2002 and May 2005. MLB banned steroids in 2003. Jose Guillen played for the A’s in 2003 and has spent eleven years in the big leagues.
