Carrie Underwood’s tour a grand success so far

Carrie Underwood, the American Idol singer, is currently on her headline tour “Carnival Ride Tour” which started on February 18 this year and has been an absolute sell out show. The popularity of the American Idol show is clearly evident from the large number of fans who had thronged the first week of shows to get a glimpse of their new singing sensation, Carrie Underwood. Josh Turner was there to perform along with three time Grammy winner, Carrie, and the crowds of over 40,000 people were overjoyed to see her perform before them.

Carrie Underwood and her band performed at the “Saturday Night Live” in New York and the amazing reception she got from the fans in New York gave the best ratings for the show in the past two years. She performed at the Saturday Night Live in between her shows in Pittsburgh on the 22nd and the Providence Concert that took place on the 24th February. “Carnival Ride”, Carrie’s latest album contains hit singles like “All American Girl and So Small” that was certified double platinum within couple of months of its release. Her debut album “Some Hearts” is now the all time top selling album in the U.S for an American Idol contestant.

Rod Stewart ready for North American Tour

Rod Stewart, the veteran singer is all set for his North American tour and his first performance will be at the Paso Robles in central California City on 30th of June. He will finish his tour at Tampa after visiting 18 cities on August 28th. Stewart assures that his fans will not be disappointed in anyway about the performances. The first seven events will be opened by the famous singer Bryan Adams. Stewart is mainly doing this tour to promote his Album “Still the Same: Great Rock Classics of Our Time”, that was released last year. More than 710,000 copies of this album were sold in United States.
Rod Stewart is going to perform in cities like Chicago, Cincinnati, Montreal, Toronto, New Jersey, and Atlanta. Stewart’s last tour was a great hit and was sold out for three years. The major hit songs of Stewart includes “Tonight’s is the Night”, “forever Young”, “ You’re in my Heart”, “Downtown Train”, “Do Ya think I am Sexy “ etc. The ticket sale will start from April 25th and are available in different price ranges of $53, $78 and $88. The performance by Stewart will surely attract crowd in all the 18 favorite cities of Stewart and the first seven venues will have Adams as an added attraction.
