Paul Weller to tour U.S

The famous British music star Paul Weller is planning late summer tour of U.S in between his visit to countries like Japan, Europe and Australia. During his U.S tour, he will do performances at Los-Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia etc. The main intention of the tour is to promote his ninth solo album named “22 Dreams”, which was released on June 2nd 2008. This album is a mixture of various styles of music and also features many guest artists. Most of his international concerts are sold out but the U.S concert tickets are still on sale to the public.

Squeeze adds more dates to the tour

Squeeze, the renowned pop-rockers from Britain, who reunited last summer, will start their North American summer tour in August. They will reach U.S after performing a number of shows in UK. Squeeze is scheduled to start first show of their jaunt in America on August 21st from Washington, DC. Recently the group added some more dates to their North American tour, making it a 20 performance affair. It is expected that the group will perform songs from their “5 Live” album released last year and also other hit songs from the studio albums.  The ticket sales started from mid-May and are available in different price levels.

Backstreet Boys to kick start their American tour on July 29th

Backstreet Boys, one of the most successful American Pop groups, will start the American leg of their world tour on July 29th from St. Johns, Newfoundland. By early September the gang is planning to visit more than 25 cities and publicize their latest album “Unbreakable”. The tickets for many of their past shows were sold out .One peculiarity of this tour is that each member of this group will do a solo performance during the concert and this will be their first tour that they are undertaking without the founder member Kevin Richardson. Backstreet Boys will give live performances at Ohio, Ontario, New Jersey, Illinois, Minnesota, Alberta and British Columbia during this tour.

Gutter Twins to summer trek in support of debut album

“Saturnalia” is the debut album of the indie rock duo named The Gutter Twins and this duo rockers are touring the length and breadth of North America in a bid to promote their new album. The indie rockers will be kick staring this summer trek on the 28th of June with a performance slated at Sled Island Festival in Calgary, Alberta. This will be followed by a series of headlining gigs all through the month of July in cities like Baltimore, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York, New Jersey etc. They will be winding up their summer trek with a performance at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit on August 1 followed by a concert at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 2. Tickets to the Gutter Twins concerts are currently on sale.

Akon, Common etc to perform at Gibson Amphitheater

A musical concert to reward the Boost Mobile Rock Corps of Los Angeles for their incomparable service to the music loving younger generation is being organized at the Gibson Amphitheater in California’s Universal City. The concert is exclusively organized for the BMRC volunteers will be held on June 20. The BMRC members will be fully treated to some mind blowing music by the hottest stars that are going to descend on the Gibson Amphitheater stage on June 20th. The artists who have said yes for this great gesture include Common, Akon, Fly Leaf, Puddle of Mudd and Three 6 Mafia. All these artists attract large amount of ticket sales for each and every gig they perform.

Stevie Wonder all set to enthrall European audiences

Stevie Wonder’s fans all over Europe are on their way to book tickets to watch him perform live following the announcement of a summer tour of Europe after a long gap of ten years. Stevie will kick start his European leg with a performance at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena on September 8th. He will be covering European cities like Paris, Germany, Norway, Sweden, France, Netherlands and Italy during his summer tour. Stevie Wonder is all thrilled about performing in front of his loyal fans all over Europe and is expecting the forthcoming Europe concert tour to be an electrifying one that his European fans will remember for a long time.

Joshua Radin to undertake six week summer tour

The versatile singer and songwriter Joshua Radin is all set to headline a six week North American tour this summer in support of his forthcoming second album. He will be kick starting his summer trek with a performance at Tucson, Arizona on the 15th of July and will be performing in places like Texas, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, California and many more. He is slated to perform in major cities of Canada as well. Ashlee Simpson cancels her US tour

Ashlee Simpson fans had only just started to celebrate on hearing the news that their pop diva will be touring U.S this month and all their celebrations now have to be shut done abruptly owing to a latest announcement in her website about the cancellation of the entire tour schedule. Ashlee was to tour the U.S in support of her forthcoming album Bittersweet World and has apologized to her fans and ticket holders for the postponement of her summer tour. There is no concrete reason for the cancellation of her tour but many people are discussing that her pregnancy might be the main reason that has prompted her to cancel the tour. She has promised her fans of an amazing concert tour next time.

Jackson Hole Music Festival – A paradise for music lovers

The ticket sales to the public are on full swing for the Jackson Hole Music Festival which will be held on August 16 and 17 at the Amphitheater in Teton village of Jackson. The inaugural function will see the participation of Black Crowes, Son Volt and Wilco. Kaki King, The Avett Brothers, Backdoor Slam are also expected to perform in this festival. As the music fans can get to watch the live performance of various artists on a single stage, the tickets for the event are in great demand. Another major attraction to this event is the camping sites and lodging facilities available at the Teton village.
