Celine Dion’s 62 day North American tour finally kicked off on 12th August in Boston. The “Taking Chances World Tour” started in February and has already passed through South Africa, Asia, Dubai, Australia and Europe. The itinerary include multiple shows in Toronto and Montreal and two night stands in New York, New Jersey, Edmonton and Vancouver. The program is directed by Jamie King who has earlier been involved with stars like Christina Aguilera, Madonna and Ricky Martin. It feature Dion;s hit singles and songs from her latest album “Taking Chances”. Her last world tour “A New Day” was a smashing hit with 723 sold out performance.
Mason Jenning’s is not letting off easy on his support for his album “In The Ever” which released last May. The singe has now decided to hold an headlining tour which is expected to continue into mid- October. He will be visiting 16 U.S cities including Montreal and Toronto. The album was a runaway hit featuring 5th in Top Heatseekers List. This album was recorded by Jenning in a secluded place in the woods with the help of just a laptop and microphones. He mentioned in his biography that he loved working with raw and crude equipments and it brought out the youth in him. He said that he was enjoying his music and it was bringing out the best in him.
Weezer, the hook-heavy guitar pop group, has announced a major tour of Northern U.S starting from September 23rd. The reason for this major tour is to promote their latest studio album which is self-titled. They will kick start the tour from Boston and has more than 21 dates to perform before the tour finishes in October. Many of the concerts of Weezer will have opening act done by Airwaves, Angels and Tokyo Police Club at various venues. The ticket sale to the general public for this concert tour will start from 15th of August. Weezer fans are eagerly waiting for this concert as this is the first tour of Weezer to North America after a gap of three years.
Keller Williams will be the front man leading a group of four like minded musicians who will be embarking on a tour of the United States in a bid to promote their forthcoming album “Live”. The other faces in the quartet include drummer Jeff Sipe, guitarist Gibb Droll and bassist Keith Moseley. The coast to coast stretch jaunt commences at the fag end of August and will be carrying on till the middle of November. Adams and his band, the Cardinals, have announced the release of a new studio set by this fall. The album named Cardinals III/IV is getting ready in France. The singer and the band will set off for a promo trek from San Francisco on August 23rd. Ryan and the Cardinals are expected to do the opening for the acclaimed British band Oasis in Canada. The promo tour will extent till early October and will conclude at Madison, WI on October 5th.
