The Swell Season Take ‘Strict Joy’ on Tour
Born out of their Grammy Award-winning performance together in the movie Once, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova formed the group The Swell Season. Their second album “Strict Joy” was released to critical acclaim in October of last year and the duo plans to tour the United States this summer with their band. Hansard and Irglova’s voices complement each other perfectly. Irglova’s delicate, beautiful voice blends with Hansard’s intense, emotional vocals. The Swell Season will play a number festivals and shows in Canada and the United States in July and August. They’re currently finishing the month of May with three shows in Atlanta, Louisville, and Cleveland.
