Alicia Keys returns to No. 1 on U.S. pop chart

 Amazin R’n'B singer Alicia Keys returned to the top of the U.S. pop album charts!  The soundtrack to “Juno” jumped five places to No. 3, as the film continued its hot streak at the box office.Keys’ “As I Am” sold 70,000 copies during the week!  It topped the chart when it debuted nine weeks ago. This means that Alicia still rocks and it proves her perfect talent.

David Guetta :”The world is mine!”

French DJ David Guetta  will perform in Bahrain during F1 festivities.The French DJ was awarded a Grammy for his mix of Deep Dish’s Flashdance, invited to remix David Bowie’s Heroes and saw his first two albums. Plus his album “Just A Little More Love and Guetta Blaster” became double gold in Europe. David Guetta will perform on April 4, Sean Paul on April 5 and an official after concert Formula One party will be held on April 6.Shows will be held from 9.30pm

Artists Want Profit From Resold Concert Ticket

Robbie Williams, Radiohead, and Arctic Monkeys joined calls Tuesday for a levy to be added to concert tickets resold on the web in order to allow musicians to claw back some of the profits that are made by touts and fans. The acts’ managers said the move was vital to bring some regulation and rigor to the ticket market, which they described as “the wild west”. It was proposed to establish a Resale Rights Society, which would collect a fee from each concert ticket sold on eBay and other websites.

6 Days On Statue To Win Concert Tickets

The 35-year old Jody Powell hung on to a 3.5-metre statue of “Hannah Montana” for 6 days to win concert tickets to a sold-out show by Miley Cyrus. The concert of the star of the Disney Channel Television show will be held next week in Tampa. 20 contestants started on November 8, placing a hand on the 180-kilogram statue in the parking lot of radio station WFLZ-FM, which is the contest’s sponsor. The participants were allowed twelve-minute breaks every 3 hours and got catered meals.

Garth Brooks Tickets on Sale

Garth Brooks tickets will go on sale on Saturday for the performer’s January 26 show at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The performance will benefit victims of the recent wildfires in Southern California and support firefighting programs in the state. Tickets are forty bucks and will be available starting at 9 am at Garth Brooks’ website, www.garthbrooks.com, but not at Staples’ box office or any other ticket outlets. There is a 6-ticket limit per person.

Spice Girls Tickets Going Cheap?

Spice Girls’ tickets for the comeback tour are being auctioned off for less than a 3rd of the tickets’ face value. The first date of their world tour starting in London on December 16, was originally sold out in just 38 seconds. Sixteen further dates at the 23 thousand capacity O2 Arena, and 2 at Manchester’s MEN Arena, have sold out as well. However now, tickets for the nineteen United Kingdom dates, with cost £85 each, are being flogged off for less than only £25.
