The tickets for the first amusing light show planned for the Kingston Regional Sports and Entertainment Centre will be on sale tomorrow. Starting at 10 a.m. tomorrow until midnight Thursday you can log onto the Hip website and find a link to purchase the best tickets. The profit gained from ticket sales will go to young and perspective local non-profit groups Lake Ontario Waterkeeper and Camp Trillium.

Ryanna Fierick and Emily D’Amico are ten-year-old fans of Hannah Montana. The girls know every word and move of Miley Cyrus. The pop artist’s concert tour sold out months ago. It outsold and out-priced legendary performers, like Bruce Springsteen. Bill Bailey, program director and radio personality at WLHT, said that Hannah Montana is a true phenomenon. It has brought a lot of excitement. Many people have been interested in winning the precious Hannah Montana tickets.

Robbie Williams, Radiohead, and Arctic Monkeys joined calls Tuesday for a levy to be added to concert tickets resold on the web in order to allow musicians to claw back some of the profits that are made by touts and fans. The acts’ managers said the move was vital to bring some regulation and rigor to the ticket market, which they described as “the wild west”. It was proposed to establish a Resale Rights Society, which would collect a fee from each concert ticket sold on eBay and other websites.

The great musician Garth Brooks has sold over 85,000 tickets in less than an hour for 5 upcoming shows in LA. Although Garth Brooks was previously scheduled for only 1 live performance, he will now play 2 concerts on January 25 (at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.) and 3 concerts on January 26 (at 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m.) at the Staples Center. All proceeds from Garth Brooks’ shows will benefit recent fire victims and firefighters in CA.

The 35-year old Jody Powell hung on to a 3.5-metre statue of “Hannah Montana” for 6 days to win concert tickets to a sold-out show by Miley Cyrus. The concert of the star of the Disney Channel Television show will be held next week in Tampa. 20 contestants started on November 8, placing a hand on the 180-kilogram statue in the parking lot of radio station WFLZ-FM, which is the contest’s sponsor. The participants were allowed twelve-minute breaks every 3 hours and got catered meals.

Tickets for Garth Brooks’s LA benefit concert in January for victims of the recent wildfires in California will go on sale on December 1 at 9 am. Garth Brooks was approached by civic leaders and California state elected officials from the areas that were affected by recent wildfires. The concert will be held on January 26, 2008 at the Staples Center in LA, California. Show tickets for all seats are $38.60 (plus $5.00 handling charge and 1.40 city amusement tax). There’s going to be a limit of 6 concert tickets per person.

Garth Brooks tickets will go on sale on Saturday for the performer’s January 26 show at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The performance will benefit victims of the recent wildfires in Southern California and support firefighting programs in the state. Tickets are forty bucks and will be available starting at 9 am at Garth Brooks’ website, www.garthbrooks.com, but not at Staples’ box office or any other ticket outlets. There is a 6-ticket limit per person.

Spice Girls’ tickets for the comeback tour are being auctioned off for less than a 3rd of the tickets’ face value. The first date of their world tour starting in London on December 16, was originally sold out in just 38 seconds. Sixteen further dates at the 23 thousand capacity O2 Arena, and 2 at Manchester’s MEN Arena, have sold out as well. However now, tickets for the nineteen United Kingdom dates, with cost £85 each, are being flogged off for less than only £25.
