Ashlee Simpson cancels her US tour

Ashlee Simpson fans had only just started to celebrate on hearing the news that their pop diva will be touring U.S this month and all their celebrations now have to be shut done abruptly owing to a latest announcement in her website about the cancellation of the entire tour schedule. Ashlee was to tour the U.S in support of her forthcoming album Bittersweet World and has apologized to her fans and ticket holders for the postponement of her summer tour. There is no concrete reason for the cancellation of her tour but many people are discussing that her pregnancy might be the main reason that has prompted her to cancel the tour. She has promised her fans of an amazing concert tour next time.

Carrie Underwood’s tour a grand success so far

Carrie Underwood, the American Idol singer, is currently on her headline tour “Carnival Ride Tour” which started on February 18 this year and has been an absolute sell out show. The popularity of the American Idol show is clearly evident from the large number of fans who had thronged the first week of shows to get a glimpse of their new singing sensation, Carrie Underwood. Josh Turner was there to perform along with three time Grammy winner, Carrie, and the crowds of over 40,000 people were overjoyed to see her perform before them.

Carrie Underwood and her band performed at the “Saturday Night Live” in New York and the amazing reception she got from the fans in New York gave the best ratings for the show in the past two years. She performed at the Saturday Night Live in between her shows in Pittsburgh on the 22nd and the Providence Concert that took place on the 24th February. “Carnival Ride”, Carrie’s latest album contains hit singles like “All American Girl and So Small” that was certified double platinum within couple of months of its release. Her debut album “Some Hearts” is now the all time top selling album in the U.S for an American Idol contestant.

Kid Rock at stadium

Kid Rock’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival Tour kicks off its 2008 leg Friday in Evansville, bringing with him Rev Run and Per Wolf.Kid Rock is back on the road after 22 million records sold in the United States and a three-year hiatus. He’s promoting his latest CD, “Rock N Roll Jesus.” Late last year, Kid Rock joined Robin Williams, Lewis Black, Lance Armstrong and others on a visit to support U.S. troops stationed overseas.Tickets for the 8 p.m. show at Roberts Stadium are $46.50, $41 and $34. Tickets can be purchased at Roberts Stadium (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m.).
